Buses only stop at locations listed on the schedule.
Wait next to the bus stop sign and signal the driver.
If there is no sign, signal the driver from a location before the intersection where the bus can stop safely.
All buses meet at the Transfer Station on Harrison Ave. every 30 minutes, with the exception of the Around Town bus (please consult schedule).
The Purple and Green routes share buses with the Orange route. Buses switch routes every half hour at the Transfer Station as indicted by the colored triangle symbols on the schedules.
At most stops, the bus will not stop unless people are waiting to board or a rider signals the driver.
Please pull the stop request cable at least one block before your stop. If you are not familiar with the area, ask the driver to call out your street.
Buses are equipped with easy-to-use bike racks.
Drivers will assist first time users
only where it is safe for the driver to exit the bus.
Using the bus is possible for many people with disabilities. All buses are wheelchair accessible, eliminating the need to climb stairs to board the bus. Operators are trained to assist in securing mobility devices and are required to make stop announcements. Dial-a-Ride service is available if your disability prevents you from using The Bus.
